Hair disaster..

Lost love I colored my hair myself yesterday, I mean all by myself. I’ve done it before, twice I think, and both times were kinda unperfect. Especially the first time, I was coloring all my hair in a darker shade and I ended up having some lighter spots in it, lol :p but this time I was only doing my roots, so the color of the hair turned out nice, my hair actually looks great. It’s my face that’s kinda messed up… I got color all over it, my forehead and my cheeks, and it’s not coming off! Well, it’s not coming off fast enough. It’s amazing how good it actually sticks, I’ve scrubbed with regular soap a couple of times, and my face soap morning and evening, but there is still some left. I couldn’t even cover it completely with makeup this morning. It’s starting to come off now though, so hopefully tomorrow after I scrub my face in the morning it will be pretty much invisible…

I’m thinking this problem might be because I switched brands, they didn’t have my regular brand, but this color was pretty much identical to it, so I didn’t think it would matter. And I have made a mess with my old brand of hair color and gotten it on my face, but it was much easier to clean. I’m pretty sure I will go back to my old one next time. Oh, and I’ll get a friend to help me  I cannot wait until I’m finished with my studies, have a job, and can afford getting my hair colored professionally. I can even get highlights and a fancy cut! Oh, the possibilities!

This really was a hilarious incident, so you are allowed to laugh :p

Don’t miss your bus!

Snow Gerbera #1 Do you notice the people around you? I was thinking about this while waiting for the bus today. It was snowing quite alot, and my bus stop was full, so I waited at the bus stop next to it, that was the bus stop for the airport bus. There was a guy at the stop as well, when he saw me just stopping and not going on to the airport bus he pointed to it and said to me that that was the bus. And I found myself thinking “god, what an idiot…” but he was just being nice! You see, us Norwegians aren’t really that polite, we don’t say hello or speak to strangers out of the goodness of our heart. We ignore everything around us and look at people who wish us a good morning like some kind of freaks. So it was no shock that this man was not Norwegian. After a little while he asked if I was waiting for the airport bus, and I said no, I was waiting for another bus, but the stop was so full. I guess he was confused as to why I was standing there, but it was nice of him to ask. A norwegian person would never had said anything. We really have such a “cold” culture, and it’s just gotten worse over the years. We never visit people, if we do, it must be planned weeks ahead, cause we’re all so busy we don’t have time for visitors, not even family. Ok, we’re not that bad, but I didn’t realize how cold we were until I met my ex-boyfriends family. His father was from Syria, and he was so welcoming, inviting me and/or my mother over for dinner all the time. Whereas my friends with Norwegian “in laws”, their families have barely met. I just find the difference in cultures interesting, how is it where you live?

I don’t look at the people around me, never really notice them as anything else but shadows. How about you?
