There was a guy who found a camera at the bottom of a river, it had been lying there for months, so the camera was completely destroyed. But the memorycard was intact and had 244 undamaged photos on it. He wanted to reunite the photographer with the pictures, so he started a blog in hopes of finding the owners. And can you believe it, only eight days later he found them! You can read the whole story on the blog he created Basin Found a Camera. I just thought it was such an amazing story, I had to share it with you

In other news, guess what I am doing July 30th!!! No, that’s not it! I’m going to see Madonna in concert!! I’ve been trying to get tickets for the past 45 minutes, and it just came through
I’m not really the biggest Madonna fan, but I like her, and she really is an icon, she’s Madonna! And I think this is my only chance of seeing her, so I convinced my mom to go with me, and when I told her all this she said, “well, you really do have some pretty good points…” So she decided to come with me

Wahhh! That’s so awesome. I’ve always wanted to see Madonna. But she’s never come to Victoria, and when she was in Vancouver, the tickets were crazy expensive
Also! I love hearing stories like that on the internet. Gives a sense of hope for the future!

Wow it’s good to know that good people out there still existed. Haha. And it just proves that the internet is such a powerful thing, i’m glad that the owner got to be reunited with the memory card again
I’d freak out if my camera got lost. I wouldn’t be able to buy another camera anymore!
